Dear Reader,

Welcome back.  It's hard to believe but it was this time last month that I sent our first issue of The Resource to you.  The response has been tremendous.

In this month's issue, we discuss the CSRI Tell-A-Friend Program; our way of saying thank you.  Also we have our first installment of Tech Talk.  We hope that you enjoy these informative pieces.

CSRI Tell-A-Friend Program

At CSRI, providing outstanding service is at the core of how we approach our job.  We do it because it's the right thing to do.

This approach leads to referrals.  Starting in March 2009, we will say thank you with savings to clients who recommend Computer Systems Resource to others who then become clients of CSRI.

The CSRI Tell-A-Friend Program

CSRI recognizes that you are expressing trust in us when you tell others about us.  We will remember that your name goes with us.

Tech-Talk.gifThe Common-Sense Approach to Safe Computing

by: Dave Eltringham

In the past couple of months, it seems we have been doing battle with viruses and malware more than we did in all of 2008.  Viruses and malware not only stop you from being as productive as you should be, but could also potentially expose you to identity theft, entice you to buy things that you don’t want or need and could spread to other computers on your network and cripple your whole business.

Does it take sophisticated software and hardware appliances to keep these things at bay?  It certainly makes it easier, but the most effective deterrent is to not invite them in to begin with.  With a little common sense, you can prevent a lot of bad things from happening.  Read Dave's suggestions for safe computing here.
